The commander of the British Royal Navy, Admiral Sir Jonathan Band yesterday visited Alappuzha Backwater on a house boat with his friends.

The Royal Navy Chief visited here in between his official visit to India.

In his visit he enjoyed the famous ‘Kerala Toddy’ (a soft drink made from coconut tree) at a local Toddy shop in Kuttanad.
